Gheorghi Vacarciuc is the founder of Resumeva, an online platform for creating, editing, and reviewing resumes. Originally from Slobozia-Dușca, Moldova, he is based in the United States and studied at the University of Essex.
My work at Resumeva
As the founder of Resumeva, I focus on product development, usability, and quality. I review the resume-building experience, assess templates and previews, and identify areas where the platform could be clearer or easier to use. My responsibilities include setting improvement priorities, defining how features should work, and reviewing changes against the original requirements.
One improvement I have been working on is helping users keep track of their selected resume template. I identified that after refreshing the editor, users could lose sight of the template they were using. I defined an experience that remembers the selected template, highlights it clearly, and brings it back into view, helping users continue editing without unnecessary scrolling or confusion.
Why I started Resumeva
I started Resumeva to help people turn their experience into a resume they feel confident sending. Having skills and experience is one thing; knowing how to present them clearly is another. Choosing a layout, deciding what to include, and explaining achievements can make preparing a resume more difficult than it needs to be.
I wanted to make that process simpler by bringing resume building, writing assistance, and useful feedback together in one place. The goal was to help people spend less time struggling with formatting and more time showing what they can contribute. With Resumeva, I want users to understand how to improve their resumes, adapt them to different opportunities, and stay in control of how they present their experience.
