Editorial standards and corrections

Resumeva publishes product explanations and career guidance. This page explains how we distinguish evidence, examples, estimates, and limits before asking you to rely on them.

Separate product facts from general guidance

Prices, plan rules, scoring behavior, privacy flows, and feature availability must match the current implementation or an approved policy source. General resume advice is labelled as guidance, not an employer rule.

Prefer primary, current sources

External factual claims should link to the responsible public body, standard owner, or original research. A source does not turn advice into a guarantee, and material limits stay beside the claim.

Label examples and estimates

Fictional candidates, employers, results, illustrations, and sample scores are identified as examples. They must not be presented as customer outcomes, endorsements, or proof of hiring success.

Verify people before adding authority labels

A named author, reviewer, recruiter, coach, or specialist is published only after identity, role, credentials, consent, and the scope of their review are recorded. Until then, Resumeva does not use the label.

Version methods and correct mistakes

Scoring guidance shows its method version and review date. When a material public statement is wrong, Resumeva should correct every affected surface and preserve an internal change record.

What release checks can verify

  • Indexable pages have one canonical URL and one main heading
  • Held or unreviewed content stays out of the sitemap
  • Retired proof, guarantee, and certification wording stays blocked
  • Fictional examples do not prefill a customer's saved document
  • Pricing and refund wording comes from one reviewed policy source
  • The same ATS method version gives the same result for the same content

Automated checks reduce avoidable mistakes; they do not replace legal review, source review, security testing, or professional judgment.

Methodology and limitations

Review what the Resumeva score measures, its published rules, and what it cannot predict about an employer or hiring system.
