Resumeva uses account access controls and managed service providers to operate the service. Information is shared with providers only for the purposes described in the Privacy Policy, such as hosting, payments, email, support, analytics, and AI features. No online service can promise perfect security.

Resumeva uses managed cloud providers, and data may be processed in the United States or other countries. The current providers, purposes, transfer safeguards, and controls are described in the Privacy Policy.

Can I delete my account and data?

Accepted Answer

You can request deletion from Account settings. Account and resume content is removed from active systems after required billing actions complete, subject to limited legal, fraud-prevention, security, dispute, and backup-retention exceptions described in the Privacy Policy.

Do hiring managers prefer this resume format?

Accepted Answer

Hiring-manager preferences vary by role, company, and region. Resumeva offers editable layouts and lets you review the finished document, but it cannot verify that one format is preferred by every employer.

Can I download my resume as a Word document?

Accepted Answer

To preserve the page layout produced by the current editor, resumes download as PDF files. Resumeva does not currently offer Word or DOCX downloads.

Does Resumeva provide resume templates?

We offer several layout options to kickstart your resume creation. However, we believe the best resumes are tailored rather than rigidly formatted.

How many words should a resume bullet point be?

Resumeva does not publish one universal words-per-bullet rule. Keep each bullet focused on one relevant contribution or achievement, state what you did clearly, and include a result only when you can support it. Split a bullet if it becomes a paragraph or combines unrelated points.

Are Resumeva resumes ATS-friendly?

Resumeva layouts are designed around common readability practices such as clear headings and predictable section structure. Applicant tracking systems differ, so Resumeva cannot guarantee how every employer's software will parse a file.

How does the AI write my bullet points?

Accepted Answer

AI-assisted suggestions use the experience you provide as source material. Resumeva asks you to review each suggestion and does not intentionally add an employer, date, skill, or measurement you did not provide. If a real result is missing, add it yourself rather than inventing one.

Can the AI tailor my resume to a specific job?

Accepted Answer

You can compare a resume with pasted job-description text and review wording matches and suggested changes. Suggestions should use only experience and skills you can support, and nothing is saved without your approval.

Will my resume sound like everyone else's?

Accepted Answer

AI output can be generic or resemble other generated wording. Treat it as a draft: verify the facts, edit it into your own voice, and remove phrases that do not accurately describe your experience.

Can I get a refund if something goes wrong?

Accepted Answer

Resumeva refunds a duplicate payment when payment records identify the duplicate charge with certainty; ambiguous cases require manual review. Other refund requests are reviewed individually using the relevant payment and account records. A refund may be approved for a verified billing or technical error, and is issued when required by applicable law. Submitting a request is not automatic approval, and nothing in this policy limits mandatory consumer rights. Any approved refund is returned to the original payment method. You may ask support to review a charge. A submitted request does not guarantee a refund or a response by a particular time. After a refund is submitted, the payment provider and the account holder's financial institution control when it appears on the original payment method.

Are there any discounts?

Any promotion currently available to you is shown on the Pricing page or in secure checkout before you pay. Resumeva does not promise a standing referral credit unless that offer appears in your account with its terms.

Question 14

How do I cancel my subscription?

Accepted Answer

Cancel a subscription from Account → Billing & subscription before the next billing cycle. A successful cancellation stops future renewals. The updated status in Account is your confirmation. Resumeva also attempts to email a copy, but email delivery is not guaranteed. If self-service cancellation fails, contact support so the technical issue can be investigated. Sending an email does not by itself complete a cancellation.

Does Resumeva offer personal resume reviews?

Accepted Answer

Eligible Pro subscription plans include an Expert Resume Review request at the limit shown on the Pricing and Account pages. Submit only the resume you want reviewed. This is a document review, not a promised coaching call or a guarantee of interviews or employment.
