How does the public comparison select terms?
It selects a limited set of recognized skills, repeated words, and capitalized terms from the job description, then checks for literal matches in the resume. It does not use a hidden job-posting dataset.
Should I add every job-description term?
No. A term belongs only when it accurately reflects your experience. Repeating unsupported wording does not establish a qualification.
Where should supported terms go?
Put truthful wording where the evidence belongs, such as a relevant experience bullet or skills entry. The public comparison never inserts or edits text.
Does the public comparison infer synonyms?
No; it is deliberately literal. The saved-resume Job Match workflow uses a small set of curated equivalents encoded in the current matcher, such as React and React.js, but it is not an exhaustive or industry-wide synonym graph.
