Your interview rate
13.3%Healthy

That's roughly 8 applications per interview.

A rate of 10–20% is what a well-tailored resume against well-fit targets typically produces. If you want to compress the search, focus on interview execution rather than pipeline volume.

Below 5%Fix targeting / resume first
5–10%Common — tailor more aggressively
10–20%Healthy — focus on interview execution
20%+Excellent — don't overscale

How to read this number

The application-to-interview rate is the single most useful diagnostic in a job search. If it's low, more applications won't help — the same resume against the same kinds of roles will produce the same rate. If it's healthy, the bottleneck has moved to the interview loop and your effort should shift there.

Ranges here are directional, based on aggregate patterns in recruiter funnels (see, for example, Jobvite's recruiting funnel benchmarks). Your absolute numbers vary by seniority, industry, and market cycle — what matters is the trend line for your own search over time.

Track it week over week

Track this in the Resumeva Job Tracker — because the applied-at date is locked once, your interview rate stays honest as roles move through the pipeline.
